Day 1 Studio We had our first day in the studio on March 27th and it was a fantastic day up at Tom Eaton's in Newburyport. I love love love his studio and just had to return there to make my 3rd album. I love the drive up in the morning, giving me time to relax, listen to some tunes and focus and center myself, and psych myself up to sing for about 8 hours. I also do some silly vocal warm-ups in the car. Not too many, since I have to sing for so long throughout the day. And then, of course, when you pull up to the Tannery, there's the Nutcracker Bakery there to welcome us with fresh coffee and pastries, as well as that little lunch place we frequent when we're up there.

Here is Richard Gates and me. My hero! Richard produced and played bass on my last album, 'So Long My Love', which was also recorded up here at Tom's. Richard has been in my band for 10 years!!

I didn't get any shots of John Sands on studio day...(not to worry, Tom Dube probably did) but here is a shot of me in drummer heaven at Toad with my 2 drummers (not 2 drummers playing at the same time, of course..heeheehee)....John Sands and Andy Plaisted! John has also been in my band for 10 years!!
We recorded 4 songs, and are going back in in June to record 4 more! We're getting there, slowly but surely. Will continue to report the progress to you all!
