June 6th 2007
May 27th-June 2nd So far, the June tour is off to a great start. I kicked it off in Boston with a big show at the Lizard Lounge with Shadwell and Red Romance (pictures to come) and then a round at Passim's bi-annual Campfire. Here I am outside Passim at the Campfire with songstresses Liz Stahler and Brianna Lane. I love those gals. 
Then, a little last minute back-up vocal session at Tom Dube's. Yay. Richard Gates added some back-ups to "Take You Down". It sounds so great! Not sure when the world will hear it, but I can't wait for to get these songs out there!
First stop, NJ. A good visit with family and 2 shows. I got to see my niece, Grace, ride her pony, Black Beauty. Here she is all decked out in her leopard print riding pants and gloves. A "cheetah girl" after my own heart. 
Here I am at a great place in Morristown, NJ called Cafe Arabica. I played a show with Laura Berman. Man, is she a great singer!! I don't have any pictures with Laura...but check out her website here
Onto NYC...my favorite place to play, hands down, in NYC: The Rockwood Music Hall. The owner, Ken, is just so nice and welcoming to us songwriters. I always feel like a superstar when I play there. 
Here I am in NYC with my friend/stylista, Katie. She and her beau came all the way from Boston to NY to see me. So, naturally after the show (guitar strapped to my back) we were on the hunt in the East Village for a key lime martini.
Tonight I'll play Iota and then head down to Charlotte on Friday for my show at the Evening Muse! I'm enjoying a few days in Northern VA with some family. Got to meet my cousin's horse, Prince...and my niece rode him as well today. Getting ready for my uncle's homemade pizza and limoncello!
