Jewlery

Oh my goodness- it's been a while. I'm so busy- like chicken-with-a-head-cut-off-busy. ...or crazy. or both. I'm heading down to Nashville for 2 weeks to write songs with people. I'm a little nervous, so I'm trying to write as much as I can during this time before so I feel ready and have lots of ideas to bring to the table. I've been co-writing with a friend up here in Boston for a year or so, and we've come up with a couple of goodies. I'm hoping I come back with a few gems to make a beautiful necklace with. ;-)



I was in the studio a couple of weeks ago to record a new song of mine. I'm really very excited about it. I'm trying to think of a good way to introduce this puppy into the world very soon. I think a formal unveiling of sorts is in order. That's just how excited I am about this one. More to come.....please stay tuned on that.

As for music I'm listening to these days...well, right this very second I'm listening to the Dixie Chicks "Taking the Long Way". It's so freakin' good. Also been dropping my jaw at the new Brandi Carlile. Oh-my-god. Enjoying Matt Kearny and his white-boy-rapping. He pulls it off. And, he can SING. big time.
On a long drive recently I was listening to Chris Trapper's newest "Hey You" and it's still amazing. ...as well as Ron Sexsmith, "Time Being". My favorite. sigh. Ron.
